My Uncle Edwin was the oldest in his family and was grown and away from home before my dad could remember. He was a railroad engineer and lived most of his working life in Alamogordo, New Mexico and later in El Paso, Texas. He was a quiet and smiling person. He had problems with his unstable wife. When they retired, they moved to San Francisco, California. We visited the there in 1950 and my dad and mother visited also.When I was in High School I visited the family in El Paso, Texas.
