She is not buried but is in a vault. ----------------------------------------------------------------- ELIZABETH LOUISE COON GUSTIN was born 13 Feb, 1899 in Walworth, Wisconsin and died Febuary 1, 1977 in Mesa, Arizona. The funeral services were held at 2:00 PM Friday, February 4, 1977 at the Neighborhood Congregational Church. the services were given by Rev. Jack C. Holz and Elder Michael Cady. Internment was in a vault at the East Resthaven Park Cemetery in Phoenix. Grave side service by Elder Paul S. Cady. Paulbearers were Michael Cady, Paul Cady, Douglas Spencer and Steve Gustin. ----------------------------------------------------------------- Obituary- Mrs Betty Gustin, 77, who had taught for many years at Roosevelt School in South Phoenix died Tuesday in a valley nursing home. Memorial services will be at 2 PM tomorrow at the neighborhood Congregationa; Church. Mrs Gustin, 47 Penny Circle, Gilbert, Came to Arizona 39 years ago from Columbus, Ohio. Survivors include a daughter, Shirley Cady, a son, Orin B. Gustin Jr., five grandchildren and four great grandchildren. ----------------------------------------------------------------- Church notice A memorial service for Mrs Elizabeth Coon Gustin who passed to the other side on Tuesday, Febuary 1, 1977, will be held in the sanctuary of Neighborhood Church. The time will be 2:00 P.M. on Friday afternoon, Febuary 4, 1977. Those who knew her as a member and friend of our church are invited by her family to be present at this time. In lieu of flowers, contributions are being accepted for the Glass, Gustin and Tate memorial fund. ---------------------------------------------------------------- Mother Gustin was a person with many friends. She and her husband took care of many friends in need and loved people. Mother Gustin, being English, was a little prudish but did her best not to show it. She lived in our home for the better part of 17 years and we never had any problems as she did not interfere with our family affairs. She had been an excellent school teacher for years and a devoted Christian. She had a good voice and sang in church for many years. We were proud to have been of service to her and Orin, her husband, as they needed us in their declining years. ----------------------------------------------------------------- According to birth certificate she was born at 1 M.P. Monday 13 Feb 1899.
