Hon discharged 19 Jan 1918. 100 % disabled. He had the flu , then rheumatic Fever and almost died and never had good health till he died. He was not buried but is in a vault by his wife ---------------------------------------------------------------- Orin was my father-in-law. He was never well and he and his wife lives with us for 17 years till she died after him. He was a great father-in-law and we never had a word about anything even though I am sure that he did not approve of everything that I did. Our children really loved him and he was fond of them. Although he was never really well, he tried not to be a burden. He had a stroke in the drug store and was completely helpless. My wife, giving him physical therapy and a lot of tender loving care, nursed him to where he could walk with a cane. I took him hunting a month before he died. He had shot 3 deer after he could not walk and really loved to hunt and fish. He was handy with tools and really helped as he could. He was greatly missed. ----------------------------------------------------------------- Obituary of Orin Gustin, Gilbert, Az, Orin Gustin, 71, who had been a postal clerk 25 years in Phoenix before retiring in 1959, died yesterday in Good Samaritan Hospital, Phoenix, Arizona.
