They lived at Hopkinton and Grafton, MA before moving to Jaffrey NH about 1780. They joined the church at Hopkinton on 7 Dec 1741. He was one of the selectmen at various times between 17757 and 1768 and owned considerable land and a saw mill. The records of their deaths were in a Bible record mentioned in CHAMBERLAIN ASSOCIATION MANUSCRIPTS. In 1778 and 1780 his sons Nathan and Joseph appear on the tax lists of Loudon, NH. In 1790 he and his wife Mary were apparently living with son Josephj ( unmarried ), who headed the family, 2-0-2 at Jeffrey, NH.
