HE HAD ONE DAUGHTER AT STANDING STONE and a 2 year old son who drowned. His wife died a few days later of grief. ( could it have been from childbirth ??) His daughter was left with her grandfather,Jonathan, and lived at Standing Stone never marrying. He had 3 children by his second wife and four by his third wife Jonathan said that he had 7 children but he must not have counted the children by the first wife. His second wife was a Thankful, daughter of Samuel D. Goff, whose children were Lavina, Aristides and Edwin. After the death of his second wife he married Laura Goff, sister of his former wife. After the death of his second wife, Mr. Stevens married Laura Goff, sister of his former wife.
