Never married. Raised by her Grandfather Stevens-Which would have been Jonathan. THERE IS A CHAIR BEHIND THE PODIUM OF THE UNIVERSALIST CHURCH WITH AN INSCRIPTION-GIVEN BY WILL STORRS WIFE INSCRIBED "IN MEMORY OF ANGELINA STEVENS 1811-1886. THE WILL STORRS WIFE WAS ELLEN STEVENS, WIFE OF WILLIAM R. STORRS ACCORDING TO NELSON STEVENS ( personal interview by me) William R Stevens paid most of the church construction. His daughters had murals put on the wall behind the pulpit Death dates conflict but Nov 5 1886 is on tombstone.
From the papers of Lillian Stevens and Theresa Hemet Patterson - Angelina Stevens Born 5 Aug 1811 died 5 Nov 1886 at Standing Stone,Pa.She never married,mother died when she was two,spend girlhood at the home of her grandfather Jonathan Stevens. She was high-spirited, intellectual, capable woman, of tall and excellent figure and, until her latter years, of fine constitution. She was fond of reading, possessed a good memory, and at 75 was young of heart and a most welcome visitor at any home. She was a loyal Universalist, and a handsome pulpit chair in the little home church she loved, testified to her remembrance. She was ill but a few days of blood poisoning and died at Nelson Stevens'.
