He was in the 1880 census in Limestone, Jewell Co, Ks. In 1864 he lived in Washington Twp Boone Co Ind.
---------------------------------------------------------------He was in the Civil War , enlisting 31 March 1864, Co.G. 11 Regt. Indiana Infantry, at Thorntown, Ind. He was engaged in the battle of Opegant ?? 19 Sept 1864; Fishers Hill, Va. 22 Sept 1864: Cedar Creek Oct 19 1854:mustered a recruit in Indianapolis,Ind 2 Apr. 1864 by Lt. L.M.Harrison. Appears on returns as follows; Apr.1864 gain recruit from defeat Indianapolis, Ind. Mar. and Apr. 1865. On duty at Cook House, June 1865 on police duty. I have a copy of his enlistment paper.
