Misc. Notes
They had two children, a boy and a girl, that died at birth. I have another death date of 1945 ( I know that 1940 as in Lee Cady's records is wrong as he died in the early 40's after 1941.) I found a note in an old cemetery record showing that his two children that died at childbirth, a boy before birth and a girl after death, are buried at the Walks Camp Methodist Cemetery in the second space north of the grave of their granddad, Thomas Cady. Thomas Barton Cady is buried by his wife in the Evergreen Cemetery, 1001 South Hancock Ave, Colorado Springs, Colo. 80903. Buried in Block 237 Space 285. There is a flat family headstone between row 193 and 289 on the north side of block 137- From letter from cemetery. Since I wrote the above I found and visited the graves. Go in the gate and straight ahead on the main road past area 222,233, 235, 236, to near corner of 237, left around 237 and right at the corner,I would say the north west corner of 237.Sixth row from corner and 2 nd stone in. You hardly have to get out of car. It would be helpful to stop at the office for help. The following notes are from writings of his youngest sister, Ruth Davis." About poor dear Tom- he was a witty little Irishman- actually I was not with him much. I was like an only child. I knew that his older sisters loved him dearly. He was called Ton- I don't know why and mother loved him. She saved all week to have a nice dinner for Tom and Em. They were there every Sunday. I'm sure that he had a sad life with her. My mother never said ONE word against Em and she did a LOT for her.Not much about Tom I Fear. I so loved the beautiful baby they lost- red hair ringlets. I was there at the time . Had to call the napping Tom about the baby dying. I wish I could remember Em pleasantly.
They had a small family grocery store in Brush Colo. when I was young. When we went by uncle Tom would have to slip us a bag of candy when Emma was not looking. The last time I stopped by to see her when she lived in Colordo Springs, she opened the door and said that she was just leaving to go shopping and closed the door. She liked my mother and some way by bus came to the funeral. She visited us several years and was a great guest .

I ( Tom Cady ) found an old note in the funeral home in Limon, Colo. showing two infants buried in the a corner of the lot owned by and occupied by Thomas Cady in the Walks Camp Cemetery about 12 miles north of Limon. Recently a marker was placed there by the cemetery showing them as twins which is wrong.
