In 1836, and put on Christ by baptism and joined the S.D.B. church of West Genesee about the first of the year 1847, Henry P. Green being his pastor at that time. He was in Walworth, Wis. July 15, 1852 and died January 24, 1906, aged 81 years, 10 months and 24 days. He was first married to Cordella Payne, who lived only a few months. He was married to Cynthia M.
