Dates from cemetery markers.The following is what I find so far about Sophia from Bradford Co. Historical Society. She married Joel Huff probably about 1850 and they had a child, about 1851, named Charles. Joel died in 1855 and she married Jonathan Stevens in 1858. In 1860, Charles Huff was living with his grandparents, Charles and Maria Roof. CHARLES,her son, died in 1861. Sophia Elizabeth's second Husband was Jonathan J. Stevens and one of their children was my grandfather, Edwin H. Stevens was born 11 Dec.1858.The whole Huff and Roof families are buried in the Standing Stone Cemetery except Sophia is buried in the Stevens Cemetery beside her husband. Jonathan J. Stevens.
