Edwin Nathaniel Cady was born in Middlebury, VT and at The age of 3 years came with his parents to Minnesota. In 1865 they settled on the farm which was his home till his death in 1939. Edwin was a prominent bee-keeper of south eastern Minnesota and took part in many beekeeping activities in the state of Minnesota.
