Notes from J.M.Powers They had two children, Mattie Edna and Walter William Henry Jones. he was raised on the family ranch in Waller Co. Texas until the death of his parents when he was 11 years old. Bill Hutchinson was made his guardian and he was sent to a boarding school. After the war he returned to the Jones ranch and lived there for 50 years ( 1928 ). When he returned from the war he found that the Joseph road had been relocated through the Jones Cemetery and a lot of the graves had been obliterated and he was very angry. ----------------------------------------------------------------
