From notes of R. M. Powers Jr .Married an Elizabeth no record of children He was named after an old friend of Benaiah Thomas Payne of Painsville, Ohio. He was 16 years old and in a boarding school when his parents died and he did not go back to the school.Little is now of his marriage and children. About all that is known is that a younger brother, A. J. Jones, of Thomas Payne Jones supplied a home for Elizabeth to live in for life on some of the Jones land.
