Samuel Meyer and Miss Maggie Barton were married in Shelbyville, Mo.last thursday evening at 6 o’clock. Rev. Mr. Penn of that city officiating. there were some slight objections, we understand, on account of the youth of the two contracting parties, and some parential interference had been excercised. Sam and Miss Maggie begged leave to differ with their parental authorities on this, to them, most important point, like many another loving couple, again demonstrated the truth of the old adage, “ love laughs at Locksmiths.”and are now Mr. and Mrs. Sam Meyers. May they live long and prosper.
