Helyne Margaret Michael was active in 4 H Club work and was chosen 4-H Girl in Oregon in 1936 and in the U.S. in 1937. She married Thomas Fruiht in 1940 and they were divorces in 1941. She lived in the San Francisco Bay area from 1942 until her death from cancer in 1977.
