From THE OLDS FAMILY by Edson B. Olds Richard married Agnes Courtney. He is mentioned in a list of bailiffs of the Wendlock Corp. He died upward of the age of 90 From him are descended the Olds of Dorset, Devon and Cornwall. Administration granted to his widow 5 May 1599. Agnes Courtenay, his wife was a kindswoman of Lord Courtenay, through this marriage the estate of Oldsoke, Co.Somerset came into the Olds family about a half century later.
