He is buried in a iron fenced enclosure to the right of the entrance road near the entrance.
It is still well marked in 1998 and 1999 when i visited.

From HOWARD CO. MO. WILLS AND ADMINISTRATIONS by Carolyn Bartels, Vol 1. Will of William Rector Barton- “ To my wife Mary M.Barton one half of my estate both real and personal. So long as she remains my widow.. Should she remarry then her half will revert to the estate, that is one half of what I have given her. I have given several tracts of land to my daughter Mary S. Barton. Mary is to have the remaining half. At wife’s death all to Mary. Also to wife all silverware and such of household furniture as she may need. To my mother, Elizabeth Barton, the sum of $ 40.00 annually during her natural life. Should my old man Billy become unable to work i wish him to be amply provided for from my estate. My brothers K.L. Barton and Elias Barton settle the business of K.L.Barton and Bros. as they may seem best.
Executors: Brother K.L.Barton and Dr. James J. Watts. These have the power to sell any houses and lots in Glasgow if necessary of ?????? the servants

From HOWARD CO WILL RECORD BOOK 4 PG 243 Mary Barton, widow and relict of William R. Barton declines the provisions as left her by will and asks the court to be endowed as the statues allow. 5 June 1852 She takes a child’s part of the property including a share of the slaves of the estate.
