Earl ----------------------------------------------------------------- ELI Wesley Michael lived for about five yours on the family D.L.C. near Brownsville and moved to Lane County and established a D.L.C in the village of Landax on the middle fork of the Willamette River. He met and subsequently married Samantha Ela Blakely in Landax. When the Meridian Dam was built in 1950, Landax along with several other small villages and all the farms were buried by water. Prior to the inundating these villiages and farms all individual graves had to be moved to a different location. Many are now interred in the Mt. Vernon Cemetery in Springfield, Oregon.
