"Where the Wagons Rolled " states " John and Emma Kleber's children were Paul August, Clarence Edwin, Gertrude Elizabeth ( Mrs F. Dale Arnold ), and Barbara May, who was born 21 Sept, 1907, at Bovina. She married Leslie Vernon Watts on Dec. 12 1945 at Denver. He was born in Missouri in 1913. Their 3 children are Elizabeth Ann, Born in 1948, Leslie Doyle in 1950 and Christine Ellen in 1952. All were born in Denver Colo. when Barbara now lives. John A. and his brother Philip ran cattle on the open range and raced horses at the Lincoln Co. Fair. John A.,Philip, Henry, August and Elizabeth Kleber all took homesteads in the area.
