Jared and Casper settled next to him. Also Casper left his property to him and Eli if they would take care of him and his wife till they died. I have a copy of this LOVE DEED as it was called. There is not 100 % proof that he was Casper's son. Marj. Nichols records show he owned land in 1818 in Dearborn Co. He was administer of the estate of Jared Evans. He married a Mary ? and had a daughter Lavina Evans and a son Edward who maried an Eleaner ?.The dates are really in question.?????

He was in the Clay Twp., Decater Co, Indiana 1850 census as 71 years old
