She was the sister of Betsey Delano who married Thomas CADY. This made their children cousins. When Thomas and Betsey Delano went west to settle and left their children Sally and Thomas with relatives. This must have been the Chamberlains . When Thomas and Betsey died of milk fever along with their children,this left Thomas and Sally as orphans. Thomas Cady and David Chamberlain ( Cousins ) were very close as it is thought that they went to Oregon together (?) as they were both settlers in Oregon
