MARRIED 3 TIMES. Have another birth year from LDS records- 1811.Had six sons, Edward,Bud,William,Alpheus, Thomas and Amos. Another source says that he has 13 children by the three wives.
Other sources said the other two wives were Polly ( Mary) Dunham and Rachel Rugy .Source Beryl Gustin Glogau.??
Alpheus Jones Gustin and first wife had first home at Fincastle, Brown Co. Ohio then moved to Peoria, Ill.( 1855) then they moved to Mills Co. Iowa in 1856. He owned considerable land and farmed and blacksmithed. He was married three times and the family story was that on his way to marry again when he was thrown from his horse. Buried in N Grove Cemetery, Mills Co. IA stone lists 656 Y 11 Mo 8 d and death date 3 Dec 1875

Apheus and Polly’s first home after marriage seems to be Fincastle, Brown Co. OH. where he owned and operated a blacksmith shop and where the birth of his first child is recorded.
