From The Storrs Family by Charles Storrs -Inscription of Cordall's grave in the North Parish Cemetery "Cordall Storrs born Oct 14, 1692, died Oct 1782. Was chosen the first deacon of the Congregational Church in this parish Oct 1745 and so continued till his death. His two wives and son Cordial are buried adjoining north. ----------------------------------------------------------------- Cordial Storrs of Mansfield, Conn. third son and ninth child of Samuel Storrs of Sutton-cum Lound, Nottinghamshire, England, Barnstable, Mass. and Mansfield, Conn. was born in Barnstable Mass 14 Oct 1692 and came with his father to Mansfield, Conn. in or about 1698. He married Hannah, daughter of Thomas Wood of Rowley, Mass. they had 4 children, Jabez, Cordial, Hannah and Mehitabel. She died 18 March, 1764 and Cordial married Mrs Catharine Bickwell at the age of 67. His will is listed on pages 107 to 110 of The Storrs Family by Charles Storrs.
