Gen. Edward Paie served during the Revolutionary War. He was a member of the Conn. Legislature in 1798-1799.He mover to Amesia, Dutchess Co. N.Y. nd then to Painesville, ohio, and one of its founders. the town was names inhis honor. He received a Revolutionary Pension.
