He is a farmer living in Deerfield, N.H. previous to 1774, he moved to Cabot, Vt. about 1797, He died with son, Jos. F. in 1815. H was a stout, resolute, smart man. He served under Gen Stark in the Revolution and carried his wounded captain, Nathan Sanborn, from the battlefield on his shoulder.
