James was listed in a tax transcript in 1779 in New Britian Twp. as a single male. He made an oath of allegiance in Bucks Co. on 5 May 1778. He was a member of the Bucks Co. mailitia in 1780. James later was excused from taxes because he was sickly. In 1794 James is not listed in Co. Records so may have died then at least he was dead by 1799 He probably never married at least left no heirs
