FromTHE DESCENDANTS OF WILLIAM SABIN FO REHOBOTH, MASS. by Gordon Allen Morris He became one of the leading citizens of Rehoboth being affiliated with his son-in-law, William Sabin. Cat. Richard Wright was agent for Col. Sir John Humphrey and came over on the Winthrop Fleet in 1630 with three daughters and a Mary Wright, possibly his wife. Mary, his daughter, stayed in England and married William Sabin there and they had two children,Samuel and Elizabeth, there before coming to America. He laid out the estate of Col. Sir John Humphrey and managed it.The accounts of his activities between 1631 and 1645 are on pages 8 and 9 of the above mentioned book. He returned to England for a visit in 1646 and 1647. He returned to Boston and owned land there in 1661. Where and when he died is not known.
