He was a freeman, a deputy 1670, 1686, 1690, and 1705. He was overseer of tyhe poor 1687, Ordained an elder of the Seventh Day Baptist Church in 1705. He married in about 1664 Mary Mosher Information from te Compendium of American Genealogy
