The 1860 census asked if anyone in the household had died in the prior 12 months. This caused the following note " Croesus Banaiah Jones died March of 1860 in Grimes Co. Texas of pneumonia. Benaiah Jones settled his estate and it was noted that he had already received his share of Banaiah 's estate. His widow later married Joe Love and lived in Robertson Co.
