Lived in Ohio in 1828 There was a David Michael of West Virginia with a wife Sarah who served in the war of 1812. ----------------------------------------------------------------- In the 1882 History of LaGrange Co. Indiana David Michael was listed as an original settler.

David and his wife both were born in what is now West Virginia, a few years later moved to Marion Co, Ohio where they made their home until 1835 when they went to LaGange Co. Ind and then to Shelby Co Mo. in about 1840 when they moved to Adair Sullivan Co, Mo.where he died in 1844. He was a veteran of the War of 1812. ( He was a cousin of Casper Michael’s children including Jared andt hose in Mercer Co. Eli, John and Hannah.
