Information on Oscar Grothe family from Helen Gustin, wife of Vernon Gustin, Samuel Jefferson's grandson. Oscar Grothe also was Samuel Gustin's grandson and married Clare Parr Springer, Alpheus Gustin's step-daughter.
His grave in the Blair cemetery is on the right as you drive north from the main entrance just past the cemetery office. He is buried by his first wife. Clare, his second wife, is buried in another area of the cemetery
