Her father was Abel Foster Wheeler 1825-1864 and her mother was Levina Arrowsmith born 18 May 1829 ---------------------------------------------------------------- From HISTORY OF THE WHEELER FAMILY IN AMERICA Pg 705-06 Mary Elizabeth Wheeler was born 5 Dec 1857 and married David Douglas Michael 17 Dec 1877. Her father was Abel Foster Wheeler and her mother was Levina Arrowsmith Wheeler. The family left Missouri in the Spring of 1864 by oxteam for Oregon. The father and two sisters died on the Oregon Trail leaving Arrowsmith Wheeler, She married Jesse Anderson McGhee.
