McGee died Wednesday Resident of Palouse over twenty-five years Mrs Elizabeth Jane McGee, 74, died at her home in Palouse Wednesday afternoon, Dec 9, following a lingering illness that continued most of the late fall. Mrs McGee was well known in Palouse, having built a large circle of friends and acquaintances during her long residence here of 26 years. She was born in Brownsville, Oregon, in 1862 and united in marriage to John W. McGee 17 years later. Shortly after their marriage the young couple moved to Albany, where they lived till 1910 when they moved to Palouse. Mr. McGee died 20years ago. To the couple were born six children, three of whom proceeded their mother in death. Surviving are two sons, Homer of Walla Walla and Wade of Palouse and a daughter Mrs Viola Wiles of Portland. Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 o"closk in the Methodist Church. Rev R.E. Kier will officiate at the service.
