Page 151 Cady Saga Data on chart is from his decendant, Glenda Eisenhour, Rt 14, BOX 164, MOORE OK. ----------------------------------------------------------------- He lived at Big Indian Creek, Stewarts Run, Pa. There is some question but he may have served in the Revolutionary War. Other records say that he served in the Indian Wars in 1790 ----------------------------------------------------------------- From Cyclopedia of Marion, Monongalia and Tyler Counties. Daniel Michael was of German descent and a prosprous farmer near Arnettsville in Monongalia Co. He served as a soldier in several campaigns and married Miss Arnett by whom he had children. one daughtr and four sons, William, Andrew, James, Henry and Mrs Katie Hawkins. ----------------------------------------------------------------- From a section on another Michael in the same printing. Daniel Michael settled upon Stewarts Run three miles north of Arnettesville in Grant District where he became a pioneer farmer. He was industrious, soon succeeded in establishing a comfortable home and eventually became one of the most thrifty and successful farmers of the county owning at the time of his demise a large amount of real estate.
------------------------------------------He is buried in the Hogue Cemetery. I visited it and it is a 4 wheel drive pickup and then walk in on top of a mountain. The cemetery was is a bad condition.
