Partial Obituary. DEATH OF JOHN M STEVENS - Passed away at his late home in AsylumTwp.
John M Stevens, one of the best known and succesful farmers in Asylum Twp., die at his home at Macadonia Monday morning at 8 o’clock. Mr Stevens had been ill for several years past and death was due to a complication of diseases. Mr Stevens was born in Asylum Twp on Sept. 9, 1841 and was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jonathan Stevens. He was a n intelligent and successful agriculturist and a man of strict integrity. Funeral services were held on Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 at the house with interment in the cemetery at Standing Stone.
