He is buried by his mother and father And two brothers in the Michael Cemetery southwest of Brownsville, Oregon. He was found dead in a field at the age of 14. At the time of his death he was 14 years old... He left home that day, apparently in good health and spirits, for he was whistling when he went. He never returned alive. His body was found in the pasture not far from his home but no possible reason for his death could ever be discovered unless it was a sudden heart attack.
