Married William Grant who was of Scotch Irish parentage and the Grant family was supposed to have come to America after the Scots were defeated at Culloden. There was no record of the family owning land but there is a Grant Creek which is in territory once owned by Squire Boone. They also moved to Kentucky about 1779
