OBITUARY-" Jones-)n Fen 4 in Brooklyn Mich. Mrs Charlotte A.M.C. Jones, wife of Dr. L.M.Jones , aged 62 years, after a protracted and painful illness. Mrs Jones was converted to Christianity in early life, and was every a faithfull exponent of what the Christ life aught to be under the many triels and afflictions of life. She was a devoted wife and a loving mother. Her zeal in church and temperance work was very great, and her hand and heart were ever open to the needy and the poor. Her life, like the waters of the sea, grew sweeted as it arose heavenworth. As the time of her departure drew near she calmly awaited the summons, and seemed to hear the voices of the loved ones who were waiting for her calling her home. She was the first link which dropped out of a chain of eight brothers and sisters.who, with her only remaining child, Dr. O.I.Jones of Tecumseh, and her berieved husband mourns her departure. For a number of years she was a member of the Baptist church. On removing to the south she joined the M.E. church with her husband. On their return north she united with the Presbyterian church and remained in communion with this church until she went to join the church triumphant " blessed are the dead who die in the Lord, from henceforth yea saith the spirit, that they may rest from their labors and their works do follow them"" -----------------------------------------------------------------
