He was married in Missouri and was divorced after world war two. They had no children but was a wonderful uncle. He was a coxswain during the war and served in the Pacific theater.He had health problems during his war service and never fully recovered. He was a pipe fitter in the plumber's union. He was a self educated man and loved war history and genealogy. He was interested in the stock and bought and sold and traded on his own and made enough to be self supporting He was a bachelor for most of his adult life but shunned female persuit due to his health problems. He was a handsome man and looked like his paternal grandfather.
