Obituary- Nellie E. Kroeger 82, Kearney, died August 30 1992 in Liberty Missouri, Terrace Care Center. The service at- graveside at Perdin Mo. Cemetery- Cremation.( 1 Sept. 1992 ) ---------------------------------------------------------------- Told to me by May Drew, a distant relative and close friend. Nellie Elizabeth Pulliam was a nurse and married a Dr. Kroeger who had a small hospital in Kirksville, Mo. He was a Osteopathic physician. They both worked hard and,I believe, had two children. They sent the children away to boarding school and did not have time for them. The son was very resentful and felt unwanted. Dr. Kroeger divorced his wife or the other way around and she was left with the financial responsibilities of the Hospital Ect. I do not know what happened till her later years and she was confined to a nursing home. Her boy talked her into lending him her savings for a new home which she was to share. She was very unhappy and sick and felt betrayed after living there as she felt unwanted.This continued till she was put into a nursing home where she died after several years. Sept 1, 1992
