He was raised by his grandmother,Ada Cady, She was 66 when she took him and it was a bad situation. As an adult he disappeared after talking his grandmother out of her money. Source- Ruth Davis who visited in the home as a child and knew the situation.She said that Ada was too old and strict and the boy very rebellious.

From Nancy Porter- I do not remember seeing Kenneth. Dad and mother told the story of how they were in Los Angeles when I was a baby. Mother,dad,Jim and I were walking down the street when they happened to see Kenneth ( what are the odds of this h appening ??? ). They bought Kenneth lunch and visited with him. That was the last time Dad saw Kenneth. They also told that Dad would hear from Kenneth when he needed money. After sending him money several times ,Dad refused . Dad didn’t hear from Kenneth any more. He would call and also ask Karl for money. Karl also got to the point that he refused. It was several years before Karl died that he had talked to Kenneth.
