OBITUARY OFMRS ELLEN TALBOTT- Ellen, daughter of Stephen and Phoebe Dean, was born May 24 1855 at Westbranch near Oskaloosa, Iowa. She departed this life Sept4,1840 at her home in Havenville.KS, at the age of 85 years 3 months and 11 days.She was reared at Westbank. She was married 15 Sept 1870 to George Chester Talbott. In 1885 they moved from that region to Whiting KS. and about 1901 to Corning and soon afterwards to Havensville. Eight child were born to them Three of them not now living though all grew to maturity. Mr Talbot died six years ago. Surviving sons and daughter are: Lem, Mrs Ada Saures and Bert of Havensville.Guy of Elizabeth,Arkansas and Leskie of Onaga. The ones who proceeded in death were Grant, Mrs Addie Fosgate and Mrs Eva Woolfly. There are 19 grandchildren, 25 great grand children and one great great grandchild. Mrs Talbott's people were of the Society of Friends, Quakers, and she was reared in that faith. Upon coming to Havensville she was united with the Christian Church there Ect Ect She died of the reults of a fall.
