Paulus Michael was born in Germany in 1708. He drew a will 30 March, 1768 and it was proven 11 April 1768. We can draw a probable death date from these dates. He came to America on Aug 27 1739 on the ship SAMUEL from Rotterdam. Hugh Percy, Commander. ( Rupp's 30,000 Immigrants 1726-1776.) Passenger list in Hinke-Strassburg, German passenger list Pg. 256. On passenger list he was 31 years of age..All male passengers of 16 years or above took the oath of allegence and anjuration 27 Aug. 1738.
