Eleanor loved her brother Jay ( Jessie ) and when her family were all dead she had the bodies all moved to a sunny part of the cemetery and was buried at Jay's feet at her request..Dates from Cemetery records. We visited the family graves about 1960.

Obituary- ELEANOR G. STEVENS, 90 - Eleanor G. Stevens 90 of 307 second street, Towanda died Sunday July 24, 1988 at the Towanda Memorial Hospital. She was born July 28, 1897 in Standing Stone Twp, the daughter of William and Julia Keeme Stevens.She attended the West Valley grade school and graduated fron the Towanda High School in 1918.Eleanor graduated from Professor Cronk’s Business school in 1919. She was associated as a bookkeeper at the Ford Garage until her retirement in 1968, She was a member of the Towanda Unaversalist Church and a charter member of the Asa Stevens Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution.. She was proceeded by three brothers John, Jay and Oakley and a nephey Donald M. Stevens.A funeral service will be held at 2 P.M. Wednesday at the Maryott-Bowen Funeral Home and internment will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends one our prior to the service on Wednesday.
