She was a painter as a hobby and in her adulthood became very childish and could not care for her family. At her death they found that she had brain damage due to lead poisoning and it was recalled that all through her life she had held a paint brush in her teeth as she painted and that she probably got lead poisoning that way.Dates from grave marker
