Bigler was the apple of his father's eye and was talented as his father wrote in his notes to Zalmon. William R. would never left the responsibilities to him if he was not capable . Edwin H. Storrs was a cousin to his mother and they chummed around a lot. Ed. Stevens went with Bigler ot Oakdale , Nebraska, to check on his father's property. Zalmon Storrs and his family lived there and this is where he met Zalmon's daughter, Margaret (Maggie) Storrs who he married. ----------------------------------------------------------------- Bradford Republic-Nov.25,1886.
