Phillip was a very mild regressive person who let his brother, Frederick, run their partnership. They had an irrigated farm, and for years a dairy. He was a dog for work and developed severe arthritis from which he suffered a lot. He also got cancer of the throat which eventually caused his death. He and his brother visited us almost every year in Arizona and we went to Mexico fishing twice. In later years he married Thelma, the widow his cousin, and she mothered him till his death. He is buried in the Eaton, Colorado, cemetery.
