Misc. Notes
Frederick Kleber was a great cousin. He were very hard working but he did love to sing and sang at church and played in a dance band as a hobby. He and his mother, and in later years his wife, would come to Arizona and visit us. We went to Mexico twice fishing and up in the Colorado Rockies fishing. He did a lot of hunting but I never went with him on any of these trips. In later years he had cancer of the throat and learned to talk without a voice box and then he had cancer again which seemed to take his health. We visited him and Minnie, his wife, and really enjoyed their hospitality. Just a few months ago, he was put in a nursing home because of real poor health. His wife Minnie could not handle him because of her own physical health. He and his brother, Phillip, turned the ownership of their farm to Gene Elder, son of their sister who had managed it for years. Fred died in the Nursing Home after years of care and being visited by his wife daily.
