Marion is one of my favorite persons. She was just married when I used to visit her and Johnny Jeremiassen, he husband, I called her my soft cousin because she was rather plump. She was a school teacher and when she retired, sat up her own preschool which she ran for years, retiring only this year with over 50 some years of teaching. The great tragedy in her life was the death of her daughter, Donna, from cancer in the prime of her life.
----------------------------------------------------------------OBITUARY- Marion Jeremiassen. Marion E. Jeremiassen 90 of Ault, died Wednesday, March 18, at Poudre Valley Hospital in Fort Collins. She was born June 16, 1907 in Lincoln Co. Co. to Philip and Beth ( Stevens ) Kleber. A resident of Ault since 1915, Mrs Jeremiassen taught school for 53 years in the Ault area. She attended high school in Ault, then Colorado State Normal School and received her masters degree from Colorado State Teachers College, both are now the University of Northern Colorado. In 1928 she married John Jeremiassen in Greeley. He is deceased. Mrs Jeremiassen was a past member of the First Lutheran Church of Ault, Co. Survivors are a daughter, Nancy Wagner of Fort Collins, a brother, Fred Kleber of Greeley ( he died just a week after Marion died) Five grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. A daughter, Donna Wicker, as sister Margaret Elder and a brother, Philip Kleber are deceased. Services will be at 10 A.M. Tuesday at Allnutt Funeral Service, Macy Chapel. Interment will be in the Eaton Cemetery.
